Flowers

Seasonal color beds are used to draw attention to the entryways of property, highlight sign areas or enhance views through the landscape. There are countless types of annual flowers and colors and it’s our job to recognize the specific site condition you have and match the proper plants in a colorful display. This includes:

  1. Prune back and plants that encroach the bed
  2. Remove any mulch
  3. Till in compost 4”-6” depth and smooth out
  4. Arrange a colorful display of annuals
  5. Install plants
  6. Install a granular weed control
  7. Install a slow release fertilizer (120 day feeding)
  8. Apply a 1” of compost or mulch to top dress bed
  9. Cleanup site thoroughly and remove debris
  10. Water in

We hope you will enjoy and admire the colorful display throughout the growing season. We ask you to help monitor the annuals by watering plants daily during the first 2 to 3 weeks of establishment. Watering from that point on should be done 2 to 3 times a week or more often if drought conditions persist.
